Would you hook it up and cook on it, then expect to be able to return it? Of course not. No different with a car exhaust. He needs to show proof of shipping damage in his claim against the shipper, or HKS directly. If he shows them a used exhaust, you think they'll give him his money back. Think, just for a second. The one in the pics looks new except for a dent. It doesn't look like a used exhaust. A damaged new, yes. Thrice: I've been a customer of CZP and Coz for over 6 years now, and I've never once had an issue. I've had about 5 returns, smooth as silk panties. The rest of the staff is nice and all, but I've always dealt directly with Coz. I actually feel guilty going to the local Nissan dealer for an OEM part on short notice. Like I've been cheating. He's that good *tear* And fourth, why couldn't you just keep the old exhaust on for this joyride rather than using "someone else's damaged old exhaust"? It's a crappy Hiper anyway. Lastly, decaf man; no need to get all pissy on the intrawebs. If you owned your own business for 30 years, act like it.
